Who is this club for?

Any Washington High School student who:

1) wants to discover the world of technology,
2) is familiar with technology, but would like to develop more skills with technology,
3) wants to help others with technology and/or technology-related activities,
4) wants to meet and work with new people.

Who is in the club now?

Name: Kalen Martin

Grade: 12th

Info: I think YET is an important club, because you can get something out of it (technology skills). We get snacks at every meeting and go on field trips to different places. My favorite activity was geocaching in Washington Park, and I even got to explore the park on my own a little.

Name: Jarek Reihner

Grade: 12th

Info:
I have been in the club since I was a freshman, because I enjoy working with technology. I design websites for local businesses and I know several things about GPS/GIS and robotics. The thing I like best about Y.E.T. is the snacks, the field trips, and the hands-on labs with technology. I guide people throughout the club with technology.

Name: Trevor DeThomas

Grade: 9th

Info:
I like the Y.E.T. club because it is fun and I want to further improve the club by making it have a more fun environment. I think technology is fun and it might be something I want to do in my future. Basically, I just like having a good time.

Name: David Fisher

Grade: 9th

Info: I like the Y.E.T. club because it’s fun and I like giving ideas to help improve the club further. I like working with computers and I think that this club can help me with a career. I also like helping people stay on topic and helping them with their work.

Name: CJ Jacobsen

Grade: 9th

Info: I think the Y.E.T club is fun. I like being able to give ideas and learn at the same time. I also like being able to create designs for web pages. I like how we use the GPS units and how we put the technology into the LEGO robots.

Name: Selbie Jones

Grade: 9th

Info: I enjoy working with technology and learning new things. I like working with photography and making websites. The fact that the Y.E.T. club introduces you to new technology makes it a great experience. Also, you can meet new people that like the same things that you do. I’m an artist, so if we need any graphics I can contribute my talents.

Name: Clayton LaPosta

Grade: 9th

Info: I participate in the Y.E.T. club because I really didn’t have much to do after school, and I wanted to get involved in a school activity. I’m kind of new to Y.E.T., but I’m willing to get involved when I’m taught everything.

Name: Tyler McMullen

Grade: 9th

Info: I'm in YET, because I love technology! It's how I find myself. I'm very creative and websites are my game. Out of what we've done so far, I'd say web design is probably my favorite, but I'm also very interested in graphics.

Name: James Muoio

Grade: 9th

Info: I like participating in the Y.E.T. club because it’s fun. I enjoy making robots and learning new things about them. I am a good member of the Y.E.T. team and enjoy using the camera. I also like working with the LEGO robotics and hope to find a career in that line of work.

Name: Amanda Poland

Grade: 9th

Info: I like the Y.E.T. club for all the hott nerd boys! Just kidding. I'm kind of good with computers, but I really want to learn more. Also, I want to do something with my artistic abilities for the club. I draw well and helped with the design for our mascot. Best of all, I like working with the computers and digital camera.
